AI visibility API and MCP server
Optimz has a REST API and an MCP server with workspace API keys, so your tools and AI assistants can read every client's AI visibility data.
What the API covers
The REST API returns the same data as the app: clients, tracked questions, visibility rates, the answers behind them, competitors, site audits, actions and content. Every rate comes with its sample size and 95% confidence interval, so a dashboard you build shows the same honesty as Optimz.
| Endpoint area | What it returns |
|---|---|
| Visibility | Mention, recommendation, coverage, share of voice and position, with n and CI |
| Answers | The answers behind the numbers, with their citations and searches |
| Competitors | The client and each tracked competitor side by side |
| Audit | The latest completed site audit and its issues |
| Content | Articles and refreshes; create an article and its brief with a write key |
MCP server for AI assistants
The MCP server exposes the same data as tools an AI assistant can call, such as listing clients, reading visibility, fetching answers and actions, and creating a content brief. Connect it to Claude or another MCP client with a workspace API key and ask about a client in plain words.
Keys and limits
Keys belong to a workspace and are created by an admin; read keys can't change anything. The developer docs list every endpoint, parameter and error.
