What it checks

  • AI crawler access

    What robots.txt lets AI search crawlers, user-requested AI fetches and AI training crawlers read, whether a bot challenge blocks them, whether the main content is in the server HTML, and llms.txt.

  • Structured data

    Whether each page's JSON-LD parses and declares schema.org types with their key properties.

  • Answer-ready pages

    Subheadings on long pages, a concise answer under a heading, lists or tables, an author and a date, and links to outside sources.

When AI answers are available, the audit also asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity 3 buyer questions suggested from the site, once each, and shows whether the brand came up. That's a snapshot, not a rate: tracked questions in Optimz are asked every week, with a 95% confidence range. A check we can't run reliably is shown as not checked, never as a problem.
