Draft: under legal review
This outline shows the structure of Optimz's privacy policy. It doesn't yet describe all of our data practices and shouldn't be relied on. Sections marked “To be confirmed” are incomplete; final wording will replace this draft before it takes effect.
Who we are
This policy will explain how Optimz handles personal information.
To be confirmed: The legal entity responsible for Optimz, its address and a privacy contact.
Information this website collects
Visitors can browse this marketing website without creating an account.
Signing up asks for a work email, a password and your agency's name, or uses your Google account if you continue with Google.
To be confirmed: Any analytics or cookies used on this website.
Free AEO audit
The free audit form asks for a website address and your email. We store both with the audit so the Optimz team can follow up about the results, and we keep a hashed version of your IP address to limit how many audits one connection can run. The hourly rate-limit counters also hold only a hash of the IP address, for up to an hour.
Your email and the IP hash are deleted from the audit after 90 days. The audit result itself (the site's address and what was found) stays available at its link, and anyone with that link can see it.
Information in the Optimz product
Customers who use the product provide account details for their team and information about the clients they track, such as website addresses, competitors and the questions to measure.
To be confirmed: The categories of personal information processed in the product, the purposes and legal bases, and the roles of Optimz and its customers.
Service providers
Optimz relies on third-party services to host the product and to collect search and AI data.
To be confirmed: The list of service providers and subprocessors, and where data is processed.
Retention
To be confirmed: How long each category of information is kept and how it is deleted.
Your choices and rights
To be confirmed: The rights available to individuals in each relevant jurisdiction and how to exercise them.
